About the Role
As a Brokerage Director, you will drive life insurance distribution by building, developing, and managing relationships with independent agents, producer groups, and financial advisors throughout an assigned territory. In addition, you will provide expert guidance on product selection, case design, and advanced planning strategies to help producers generate high-value life insurance and annuity sales.
Furthermore you will serve as a trusted resource for producers by delivering training, marketing support, and ongoing consultative sales assistance. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with the internal leadership team to deliver competitive, effective, and compliant solutions that meet the needs of producers and their clients.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Proven success identifying, engaging, recruiting, and onboarding high-potential independent agents, producer groups, and financial advisors.
- At least 5 years of experience in life insurance wholesaling, a BGA environment, or a similar insurance distribution role.
- Strong knowledge of life insurance and annuity products, distribution channels, and producer relationships.
- Additionally, a competitive and results-driven mindset, combined with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Moreover, the ability to provide consultative guidance on product selection, case design, and advanced planning strategies.
- A bachelor's degree, which is required.
- Advanced industry credentials, such as CLU or ChFC, which are considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute growth strategies to increase life insurance and annuity sales throughout the assigned territory.
- Identify and develop new producer relationships while strengthening relationships with existing agents, producer groups, and financial advisors.
- Partner with advisors to provide product guidance, case design expertise, advanced planning support, and consultative sales assistance.
- Additionally, recruit and onboard high-potential producers who can contribute to sustained sales growth.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of key broker-dealers, insurance partners, and their products.
- Provide training and marketing support that helps producers identify opportunities and successfully position life insurance and annuity solutions.
- Furthermore, collaborate with internal leadership and business partners to develop competitive solutions while maintaining appropriate compliance standards.
- Ultimately, build trusted producer relationships that generate long-term growth and increased life insurance and annuity production.
