Position Summary


Above all, the VP/Sr. Director of New Business will lead our Client’s New Business practice ensuring best-in-class support for our Client’s licensed agents and their staff. Furthermore, through strong leadership and team building, t​his individual will be responsible for designing and implementing systems and processes to build a scalable New Business organization.

Responsibilities

● First of all, manage the daily operations and strategic initiatives of the New Business Department, ensuring a best-in-class experience for our Client’s agents and their staff
● Furthermore, collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations, projects and systems
● Also, develop, measure and monitor department level KPIs
● Most noteworthy, create the processes, systems and team that enable a scalable organization
● Above all, lead, guide, direct, and evaluate the work of New Business team members
● Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at carriers to enable streamlined cross organization business practices
● Finally, develop dashboards and metrics to keep the senior leadership apprised of department level performance

Requirements

● First of all, at least 8 years of industry experience
● Above all, experience leading a large Annuity New Business or customer service team within the annuity space
● Furthermore, strong communication skills with the ability to work with different personality types
● Also, ability to take initiative and push company level strategic initiatives forward
● Most noteworthy, strong problem solving and decision making skills
● Strong understanding of technology and systems that enable the life insurance industry
● Finally, obsessed with finding a better way to do things
