Our Client provides its advisor, agent, broker-dealer, and financial institution partners excellent proprietary products and operational support. Furthermore, this is in the areas of wealth management, guaranteed income, long-term care, and life insurance. In addition to organic growth, our Client is focused on growth by acquisition. 40+ companies have joined our Client since 2016. Each of our Client’s operating businesses is directed by its local management team. Yet, they benefit from access to our Client ‘s group resources. Our Client has 500+ employees and 30+ operating subsidiaries across the US.

Summary

The National Sales VP job is responsible for providing marketing, financial planning solutions, fixed annuity knowledge, and extraordinary customer service to independent agents/agencies. This is for the establishment and retention of new business. The National Sales VP must have the ability to expand and retain an active agent base. This is done by establishing a good rapport with clients utilizing professional phone skills. The desire and drive to succeed in a competitive financial services setting is imperative.

Base salary $35K to $55K DOE. In addition, a commission/bonus payout schedule. This schedule has a bps commiserate with production directly related to paid premium/business the National Sales VP recruits or has issued that is new organic production. This production is based upon these products: Indexed annuity business; MYG and SPIA business – a much lower weighting; UL and IUL business – weighted to equivalent. Responsibilities for the National Sales VP

  • Uppermost, drive and increase annuity and life sales through:
    • Recruiting financial advisors.
    • Training financial advisors on product solutions and marketing programs.
    • Growing the financial advisor’s practice.
  • Furthermore, as part of the National Sales VP job, respond to inbound calls regarding product solutions, marketing programs and practice betterment services.
  • Participate in continuous training.
  • Self-develop with industry and product knowledge to remain current with trends and products.
  • In addition, as part of the National Sales VP job, keep abreast of the competition and changes in the economy and financial markets.
  • Understand and adhere to the Vision and Mission of our Client.

Requirements for the National Sales VP

  • As part of qualifying for the National Sales VP job one must have at least three years of successful external sales consultant results.
  • Furthermore, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with accurate typing skills.
  • Another part of qualifying for the National Sales VP job will be that travel is required.
  • Also, College Degree Preferred or Equivalent Work Experience.
  • State insurance license preferred but not required.
  • In addition, Series 6, 63, 7, 65 or 66 preferred but not required.
