Duties and Responsibilities

  • First, take each lead through established sales process from beginning to end, tailoring offering to best fit the needs of the prospective advisor.
  • Most noteworthy, utilize Salesforce, cold call, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Furthermore, update Salesforce with relevant information in discovery and update status throughout the sales process, including thorough and complete note taking.
  • Also, reaching out to leads captured and nurtured by the Marketing Team to book meetings with independent financial advisors.
  • Provide feedback to Marketing Team regarding quality of marketing-sourced leads.
  • Finally, report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

Requirements

  • Life and Health insurance licensed, strongly preferred.
  • Above all, prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Two or more years of industry experience working in the independent financial distribution space, preferred.
  • Also, bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, preferred.
  • Most noteworthy, able to think strategically and tactically.
  • Also most noteworthy, able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure.
  • High integrity and ability to establish trusting relationships.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Finally, ability to work independently and manage one’s own workload.
